Does anyone experience anxiety?

Hi,
I think we all experience some sort of anxiety at one time or another. I get anxious when I have to drive the car and yet I've driven a car for many years. However, my husband drove the car most of the last 30 years. He died in 2024 and there I was faced with driving the car by myself! I was really worried about how I would do because I was older. (79) However, what I did was just give my anxiety up to God and have faith he'd be with me. It worked out just fine and always has but I still get a little nervous when I haven't driven the car in a while. I can just hear my Mother who's deceased, quoting the Bible to me, "Ye of little faith!"

What causes you anxiety? Have you tried praying about it? It works!
I'll say a prayer for you.

I absolutely do experience anxiety and for all sorts of reasons. I do have Bipolar and OCD so I have to be treated first with medicine and talk therapy. Therapy, both with a secular counselor and with my priest, has helped me understand myself better. I believe in God but I also believe in brain MRIs and psychological testing. Things like planning to go out of town and not being able to get to a parent who is in the hospital cause me anxiety.
