Allergic reaction!

I recently had a Hospitalist tell me Benedryl is banned in other countries. I told him I carried Benedryl with me because I could get hives at any time. I found that very interesting. It seems as though there is no answer to hives, face swelling, or any reaction to drugs. After the bad reaction to the Covid shot an allergy specialist at KU Med center did not know what to do with me. I give up!!!

my doctor started me on 40 mg of omeprazole. Day four I got one little itchy bump on my chest on my rib cage. Day five it got a little larger and I had two or three bumps. Day six I had 15 to 20 very itchy bumps/rash. I stopped taking it and they are now starting to dry up. They were little red bumps with a wet tiny center.
There should be a warning on this, but I'm one of those people that is allergic to every drug prescribed
