Do you have symptoms?
Well, goodness, @aliviaghormley, you have a lot going on and I’m sure you’re desperately trying to figure out the underlying cause of all these health issues. It’s not for lack of sleuthing. It sounds like you and your doctors have put a great deal of effort into finding a cause and treatment for you.
You mentioned Mayo Clinic…if you haven’t already requested an appointment, here is a link to get you started. http://mayocl.in/1mtmR63
You don’t need a referral but it can be helpful, especially considering some of your complications. Referrals from your specialists may have an impact.
You mentioned your blood work has been wonky for about 5 years. Do you remember anything that precipitated the change? What were your first symptoms?
What is your hemoglobin levels
@loribmt thank you for responding. I should’ve included, I do have a referral placed and my doctor just wrote a letter to the ask for charity care since I am on Colorado Medicaid. I heard from the financial department this does take some time, so I’ll plan to call in about 6 weeks if I haven’t heard anything.
As far as what set it off, I think I had an early case of Covid, in February of 2020. It seems like that was a turning point medically speaking.

@aliviaghormley I live in Colorado too. University Hospital (Anschutz) in Aurora is much closer than Mayo. Have you had a referral there? Hope the Drs figure out what is going on soon. How do the symptoms affect your employment?
@janetlen hi, thanks for responding. I wasn’t sure if they had a department for blood disorders, when looking online it looked like they had a cancer center and a center for bleeding disorders.
Unfortunately I have been unable to work for about 3 years now. I am in the appeal process for my disability application.
Yes, Anschutz has a clinic for blood disorders and Cancers. On the 3rd floor in the Cancer wing. IMO they have some of the best Drs in the nation. Maybe you could at least get a review of your records there? I believe there is also a City of Hope in Denver, but I have not looked into it. Sorry you can't work. As young as you are, that must be tough! I imagine standing or sitting is very painful with bulging discs. I hope you find a medical professional who can sort this out for you and get you on the road to recovery. It seems like with all of your tests that blood disorders or cancers might be ruled out. If this were brought on by COVID, would an infectious disease doc be more helpful? Any chance you are vaccine injured? Is there a group on this site for vaccine injuries or long COVID? Have you asked your Dr about those 2 possibilities?
Alivia - I just checked Mayo for a Covid support group. Many of the symptoms you note are listed there: https://connect.mayoclinic.org/group/post-covid-recovery-covid-19/
