A roll-call thread for Nidra users
I'm starting a new thread specifically for those of us with a Nidra to compare notes and to be a resource for newbies, just getting started with Nidra.
I've had mine for 15 months (since April 2025) and enjoy great success.
If you have a Nidra, too, add a posting (doesn't need to be long) so we can have a head-count of how many Nidra users are members of the Mayo Connect sleep group. Calling all Nidra-buddies! : )

I've been using them for about 4 months, and have had great success. I wish they had a remote control as the worst part is turning them on in the middle of the night while having a cramping/spasm episode.
Hi Jim: I've used my Nidra so infrequently recently that I've noticed when I do need to turn on it is difficult figuring out where to press it on it. I'm out of practice. I can see the + but not feel it. I wear a Fitbit watch to bed and if I push my watch, it lights up a little--enough to see the Nidra bands and the +. I have to duck my head under the covers, come to think about it. If I didn't wear the watch, I would probably bring a small flashlight to bed. I agree about a remote control! That would be a good idea as an upgrade. Wonderful to hear of your success! Thanks for your post!
