Epipen coupon gift: A little act of kindness goes a long way...

Posted by John, Volunteer Mentor @johnbishop, Dec 24, 2016

Know anyone who uses a epipen? An awesome young pharmacist saved my daughter $200 on an RX this morning by having her use my cellphone to get the coupon before she got the RX filled.

I am normally awake at 5am everyday so when the phone rang I was a little surprised but wide awake. My daughter was calling from the ER to ask if I could pick her up and drive her home. She was taken to the ER after having an allergic reaction due to her throat closing up. She received an epipen injection which took care of the allergic reaction but had to stay at the hospital in an observation room until cleared by the doctor. The doctor wrote a script for an epipen which we took to the pharmacy on the way home. Thanks to a young pharmacist for going out of his way to save my daughter $200 on the RX and at the same time making my day. When you are 73 there are not much more fun things to do than have lunch with your daughter and spending some time with her. So young man at the pharmacy counter this is an anonymous thank you from a happy father.

If you use an Epipen or know someone that does, please pass along this coupon. Hopefully the prices will go back down here in the U.S.

May you all have peace, strength, and comfort during this holiday season.

Hello John. I had a bit of an accident Friday morning. I got out of bed took right instead of left turn and was soon in ambulance with crushed vertebrae and head injury. Finally pain medicine which I can't get for RA. Itake a blood thinner so had to wait for 3 to 4 days for surgery. I pray all goes well.

@oregongirl I am so sorry to hear about your accident. Trips and falls are one of the biggest threats to our health. I’m praying for wisdom for your doctors and strength to help you get through the recovery.

If you are able and can let us know how the surgery goes, we would appreciate the update.
