Welcome @simpleson, It's heart wrenching to watch your child struggling when something is wrong and you don't know what to do. Mayo Clinic has some information on dizziness and possible causes/treatments that might be helpful - https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/dizziness/symptoms-causes/syc-20371787.
Has your child been seen by a doctor yet?
@simpleson
My recommendation is to see a pediatric ear, nose and throat specialist. They can check inner ear, hearing, etc. to see if there is fluid affecting balance.
Look up the Epley Maneuver. Maybe it will help.
See a neurologist if you haven't already. My sister-in-law experienced vertigo for six months before going. He showed her a maneuver (maybe the Epley Maneuver mentioned in post by mblanch56), and voila! vertigo is gone after only one day. She is relieved and ecstatic!
Where can I find Epley Maneuver? thank you.
Look on YouTube or ask her neurologist.
Best!
Hi! I have had a very similar experience with my 10 year old son. He had vertigo for over 3 weeks. Saw several ENTs and also a pedia neuro. Had an MRI done as well. His MRI was clear. Diagnosis was BPPV. He also did the epley maneuver with an ENT. Feel free to reach out.
You can Google Epley Maneuver and it’s also on YouTube.
