90% Blockage Stented, still have one to go!

Posted by swalker410 @swalker410, Feb 28 5:25am

I just had a stent placed on a 90% blockage that I have on Thursday and was sent home from the hospital and still have a 90% blockage that has to be scented and I’m afraid to go to sleep for fear that I might not wake up.

I had five heart attacks the week the stent was placed, and I’m absolutely terrified

Did they explain why you were sent home. Did they say it was safe? I can understand being worried.

I think I can safely say for all reading that we get it. Just learning you have this problem of a severe blockage is enough to unnerve a person! However, and you MUST understand this...it's critical to get my drift here......if you were generally unaware, and had no nasty symptoms, then you're home free. Your body is your best early warning system. When you feel unwell, it's for a reason. If you were generally feeling okay prior to the new stent, the new one is making your condition even better, right from the get-go. So, you are better off, and you maybe (?) were not in a bad way before the last operation. So, nothing to worry about. You're good.
