Covid Symptoms Mimicking Sinus & An Overactive Bladder
Hi guys. I thought I had a sinus problem (congestion from forehead to nose) with a slight headache. A few days later, I took an at home COVID test and tested positive. After testing positive, I had one night of frequent urination. Thankfully that ended but the constant headaches and the feeling of being a walking inferno escalated. I wanted to alert all that may be experiencing sinus issues when in fact it may be COVID.

Just a thought with the frequent urination- COVID triggered newly onset diabetes for me, so if your increased urination continues, or you have increased thirst, you may just want to do a spot blood glucose check.
You’re right. Thank you. I heard about people being diagnosed with diabetes after battling Covid.
I hope that you feel better! COVID is a psychological burden as well as physical. So many unknowns, so many different symptoms. Hang in there.
Well, you and I are the first ones I’ve noted on this blog with overactive bladder issues. I was diagnosed with Covid in June 2022. My symptoms were low fever, cough, congestion. Then, I’ve be casually walking to the bathroom without feeling a sense of urgency. It would be like somebody turned the valve and it wasn’t me as I peed down my legs. This occurred throughout the 10 days of Covid. After 10 days, the urgency and frequency continued. I was referred to a gynourologist who listened, performed tests, and diagnosed me with an overactive bladder, sending me home with samples to try. I’d been treated for a UTI two weeks before testing positive for Covid. A year later the overactive bladder is improving with medication.
@silverfish0409 I have read about attaching Tens device to your right ear and a study about that to affect the Vegus. Whats missing it settings to use on the Tens device. Any details available on that?
In reaction to more recent posts. My glucose levels are in the normal range. I did have a bladder infection two weeks before being diagnosed with covid in June of 2022. Lost some bladder control
during the 10 days of active covid.
Not right ear!!!
Right ear will interfere with heart rhythm. You attach to left ear.
