Spotting Following Cortisone Injection

Anyone else experienced spotting following a cortisone injection? This is my second experience. Both times it started about 10 days after the injection. Just wondering how long it usually lasts. The first time was a number of years ago and I thought it only lasted a few hours. I'm now on Day 2. I'm 61 years old and went through menopause when I was 52.

How long from time you saw doctor, til the surgery. I went nov 22nd. I know holidays thur,Fri. Today Monday. Wondering when they will call and how long I should wait if I don't hear from someone.

Having my hysteroscopy with d and c on Jan 3rd. Wish I didn't have to wait so long. I'm so nervous being put under general anesthesia. Also have sleep apnea. Took me a while to decide to do this. Even though I know it's from the steroid injections. But can't keep wondering what if.

I had a cortisone injection to my hip about 4 years ago. I was 9 years post menopause at the time and on hormone replacement therapy. I developed vaginal bleeding about 2 days later that lasted about 5 or 6 days. I had an endometrial biopsy which was negative for cancer. I have not had any post menopausal bleeding apart from that one time so can only conclude it was related to the cortisone injection, although my gynecologist wasn't aware of that as a side effect.

I am 55 and 2 years postmenopausal. I just had a hip cortisone shot also a few days ago and just started spotting and then somewhat heavier bleeding today which alarmed me. I made a dr appt but relieved to see this thread from others with same experience.

2 more days till hysteroscopy with d and c. I am scared still. Just keep thinking put me through this when it's most likely from cortisone injections. Only spot when I get the shots. Not afraid of procedure afraid of being put under with sleep apnea,even though I'm told it's safe.

Had my hysteroscopy with d and c cottage. Was scared but all went well. 2 polops. Now wait for results.

Thank you. Now wait for results. Funny thing doctor said she is on a Facebook group for gynocologist,and someone asked has anyone have a patient that has spotting after cortisone injection. My doc answered doing a procedure on a patient today. So I'm like I didn't have to do this. She like you have to make sure. I'm like yes otherwise I'd wonder what if.

Anyone after having hysterscopy d and c bleed more 3rd day. Bled some 1st then hardly nothing now seems on 3rd day more . Thought I'd be done. How long does bleeding last.
