Hello, I follow this group and thought I was already a member. My pain is lower back - S1,2,3 and L4,5 - and is inoperable due to ILD in m lungs. My PCP has agreed to let me try CBD oil. Any safety hints or comments in general would be GREATLY appreciated. @cognac

Hello @cognac -- I'm assuming you are talking about the CBD oil that contains THC and is applied on the skin? I'm tagging @artscaping and @jimhd to see if they have any thoughts or information on the use of CBD oil.

Hi, John. No, Sir. I'm talking about the remaining part of the plant leaf AFTER the THC is removed. This oil is sublingual. Dosage is usually a drop. It's supposed to reduce pain and anxiety. It is not Hemp Oil, either.

I went to my appointment yesterday for my first session with the pain counselor, but she wasn't there. After waiting for 30 minutes, I got hold of her and she said she was sick. She had left a message on my phone at 7:30a.m. Trouble is, I was asleep and didn't hear the phone, then I accidentally left my phone at home when we went to town (an hour away), did some shopping and went to her office. So, I have an appointment in two weeks.

@cognac @johnbishop

I've not yet tried CBD oil. I'll ask the pain counselor about it when I see her on the 10th.

When will Texas wake up? The property taxes here are HUGE. Oregon has gained SO MUCH tax revenue due to allowing the sale of Pot. No pain pills needed. You can also buy it in the form of oil. Just walk in and buy it.
