Has surgery ever been suggested? With spinal stenosis, the pain can be alleviated with spinal fusion. A pain specialist can help.
Yes - I went to pain specialist and they did a nerve ablation - everything has been 10x worse since I had that done. I had pain before but now in a CSS emergency state most mornings. Feels like something is seriously wrong with me and feel like I could go to the ER most days. I am able to calm myself down and not go into panic mode which is progress but I know that I can't live like this. Searching for solutions, praying, and trying to stay hopeful.
Thanks for responding 🙂
I’m 74 and live in Chicago. I recently had a shoulder replacement revision surgery and the recovery is long and painful. Also have arthritis and bursitis in both knee, chronic neck pain, and back pain, for which I had an L4-S1 fusion and currently get radiofrequency ablations every six months.
Thank you for responding - I went to the ER and spent the night - they did CT scans and blood tests and heart tests - they didn’t find anything significantly wrong. Except that I was taking steroids from the ablation that was causing my symptoms to be 10x what they were. I was on Oxy for 6 weeks. I am a recovered alcoholic and can’t afford to be on Oxy. A few doctors are pointing to Central sensitisation Syndrom - feeling worse everyday right now and literally feeling like I am slowly dying. Today is a bad day - I have hope on ok days
