Welcome @cjparkhurst, Mayo Clinic does work a lot with regenerative medicine but if you are talking about stem cell therapy for neuropathy I'm not aware of any treatments by Mayo Clinic although there is some research. Here's information I've found:
Once again, I have diabetic peripheral neuropathy in both feet. In 2015, I went to a leading stem cell therapist con artist doctor in LI, N.Y. It did nothing except have me flush about $10,000 down the toilet. Not covered by insurance and no guarantees that it will work. It's been 8 years, if there was any regeneration, I would know it. Also, EMG tests did not indicate that I was getting better. Sorry, I can't give you better news and I hope your pain and everybody else's PN pain can be manageable.

They supposedly contain a variety of growth factors, and anti-inflammatory compounds that enhance regrowth of axons and myelin sheath, and modulate the inflammatory attacks that cause the pain. Much of the research is done in China - not seeing a lot in the U.S. Has anyone had any experience with this therapy?

Everyone's pain is different and everyone has different ways to fall asleep. Don't like the term "doping up". It sounds that it has an addictive element. And that's no good.

2 ReactionsI heard of this from a Dr. friend in Canada. I'd be willing to try it BUT where is it done in the US? I'm also sure it's not covered.
Is there any hope other than doping up at night in order to go to sleep?
