I have a long list of diagnoses too. You will find lots of company here. I just started seeing a physical therapist for my neck in Minnetonka, MN. My neuro doesn't trust chiropractors for neck issues. She was wonderful. For once I have hope! No disrespect intended toward the chiropractic profession.
Yes! I use a product called Bed Buddy that I purchased for $10. I bought two, one for the freezer and the other for the microwave. I use around my neck throughout the day but your idea would help during sleep as I cannot use the bed buddy to sleep. Funny, it is called a bed buddy but is not comfortable position to sleep, haha. Thanks I will try the ThermaCare product. Have a great day.
They are stick-on the skin, very comfy. You can find them in the splint/first sid section at CVS, or any drugstore. http://Www.drugstore.com is going out of business on 9/30; you may find them on clearance there. I am sad they are dissolving.
Yes, I know what you mean. I had to have neck surgery, fusion of C4-c5 in 1996 and it went well for about 12 years even with diminished range of motion but now can't drive and have bulging discs throughout my spine, especially above and below my surgery area. In fact, my last MRI of lumbar and cervical showed multiple issue areas. Physical therapy is the best solution, not surgery, in my humble opinion. Take care.
Good luck with the hip surgery! It is wonderful how many people that I have known that have benefited from it. I am the same with OTC meds, Tylenol is all I can take aswell. I take Gabapentin too, 600 mg tabs 4X day and it does help. I appreciate your input and wish well too.
Thanks. I had read that about CVS. I bet it affects the Walgreen market too. Haha, their brilliant marketing building across the street from each other may have not been so brilliant after all. I preferred CVS too.
Thanks again, I found them through the link you supplied. They are $7.99 for 3 in a box! Terrific!
hello everyone, I am new to this group.
Welcome to the group! Please share a little about yourself. I promise we're a friendly bunch and won't bite.
Prolotherapy consists of injections of a special saline solution into the
muscles in your back. I suggest for you to research this on the internet
and to find a local practioner who will do this. I was shocked at how much
it helped relieve some of my pain. My Mayo doctors said that they have
heard of it and how successful it can be for some patients; however, Mayo
does not perform prolotherapy. Best wishes!!
