Is it just me or does Aerobika take twice as long to nebulize meds?

1 ReactionThank you, finally I know what people are talking about. And the funniest is that LINKCARE the company I rent my Medline compresor and nebulizer once sent me this kind of nebulizer and I have it! I always wondered what it was. So thank you again for explaining.

2 ReactionsSoak in Dawn dishwashing liquid in hot water for about 10 minutes. Rinse in regular water then in distilled water. Shake excess water out & lay on clean paper towels to dry. Once a week I placed parts in microwave sterilizing bag & run according to time listed on bag. Times vary depending on your microwave.

1 ReactionI do what the instructions suggest- wash in hot, soapy water after each use and sterilize after every other use. There are several ways to sterilize, but I love the Medela bags that go in the microwave.
I started nebulizing with aeroeclipse and aerobica. This nebulizer technique is more effective than using the two divices seperately- it helped with loosening mucus. Unfortunately I have only one aeroclipse and today it broke because it does not produce the mist. Does it always break quickly or did I do something wrong? I checked the mist indicator and its in the right position.
@lilianna I've had mine for awhile and remains functional. Try a cleaning/boiling cycle, dry, then try again later in the day. Fortunately the AeroEclipse is reasonably priced.
Thank you for all your advice. I use the combo and I can finally sometimes cough up some clear stuff. This form of nebulizing definitely takes longer, about 45 minutes but it seems to be be effective for me to some extend so i do it. Yes, I need about two hours in the morning and at night to do everything. What I also noticed is that my throat becomes dry during nebulizing so I keep a glass of warm water by me. Have a peaceful day.

1 ReactionYou might be able to save some time by switching off the breath activation. I've read that's only necessary when nebbing antibiotics.
