@becsbuddy thanks for the heads up! I checked it out and will probably view last years Summit and see if it is something I should do.
This is wonderful, Thanks for passing the information along.
Sincerely,

What does it mean to have positive ana..
@bettersleep68 In short, a positive Ana means that and autoimmune reaction has been detected in your body. This link from the Mayo Clinic can explain it better.

Do you think you may an autoimmune disease or has your doctor suggested it to you?
I have had vitiligo for years and two years ago had a case of psoriasis...I do have fatty liver and worried about that
@bettersleep68. I found this blog (it’s old, but still has good info) about fatty liver disease. The medical abbreviation for it is NASH.

do you have a good doctor and plan of care?
Going to doctor monday ..my us scan showed f2 and f3..mild to moderate ..I think I might mention metaformin since no medicines are for nash.....thank you for the information
@bettersleep68. You had a doctor appointment on Monday. Did you learn anything new? Do you feel good about your doctor?
He told me to repeat all labs and u/s in 6months..told me to lose weigh and exercise.. he said I was not a candidate for weight loss surgery or any medication. But he said they are working on new meds for nash and by the end of the year they might be ready. It is hard for me to understand there is nothing to help ..maybe the future will bring hope..my condition is hereditary..I have no markers for nash..thanks for checking ...I will be checking with mayo to see if they post new treatments
@bettersleep68 I know it can be difficult to understand that there are no treatments or medications for a health problem that you have. But that is exactly what is said by the Mayo Clinic:
https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/nonalcoholic-fatty-liver-disease/symptoms-causes/syc-20354567
I’m going to ask @rosemarya if she can tell you about her experience.
Do what the doctor tells you for now and don’t give up hope.
