How about a laugh, (hopefully)

Posted by Jake @jakedduck1, Dec 31, 2018

I believe laughter is the best medicine. Laughter has actually been scientifically proven to help people with depression issues.
Let’s give it a try so we can all get happy and feel better. Many Epilepsy forums I’ve been on had joke sections. I was probably the biggest joke of all since I didn’t get a lot of the jokes. They said the jokes couldn’t be above 4th grade level for me to understand them so my jokes may be rather simplistic but let’s give it a try.
Have a lovely day everyone,
Jake

General anesthesia is so weird. You go to sleep in one room, then wake up four hours later in a totally different room. Just like in college.

An apple a day keeps the doctor away, but if the doctor is cute, forget the apple.

Waffles are pancakes with abs.

I stole this one from Lagrange (thank you!) who posted it in the thread "inspiring quotes" here on Mayo Connect. Give those messages a read, if you have the time. People are putting up some really good thoughts there, too.

Have a great day, everyone!

My primary is close to the same age as my grandson! (Both in their mid 30s.) Yep, I'm old.

My pulmonologist is so young that I don't think he has to shave every day yet!

I call him "Doctor Snickers Boy," because he was eating a snickers candy bar for lunch when he called me with test results. Every appointment now, I take him a Snickers bar.

Very importantly- He is an excellent doctor...and I been to a lot of 'em.

Happy Friday!

My primary is brilliant and has so much expertise in so many fields I currently don't need to see a cardiologist or a GI specialist or an endocrinologist. I told him not long ago he could specialize in any or all of them. I love him as much as I love my grandson. And he always tells me he's delighted to see me. If there's a better primary than that I'll eat my hat. Happy Friday backatcha!
