I was diagnosed last March. I have had six rounds of bimustin and rituxin therapy. I am now in remission and will be on a two year maintenance of rituxin every other month with PET and CT scans every two or three months.
Hey there! I had 6 rounds of CHOP chemotherapy and one month of radiation for Non-hodkins Lymphoma when I was 18. This summer will mark my ten years of complete remission 🙂 Let me know if you have any questions or just need to vent about anything! I would be glad to help you any way I can.

I have Non Hodgkin Follicular Lymphoma, I was diagnosed on 1/5. My Lymphoma was found two weeks after finding my cecum cancer. When my surgeon ordered a CT scan, after my polyp came back cancerous. sighing.. double trouble. Cecum cancer was a stage 1 had surgery to remove that. The Lymphoma is on a watch and wait approach.. since I have no symptoms other than swollen lymph nodes near and around my aorta. Not sure if you heard of this book? I purchased it to and it has lots of helpful information. "Living with Lymphoma: A Patient's Guide" by Elizabeth M. Adler. I wish you the best.

Thank you for the posting. I am still in remission. I have PET and CT scans every two months and also receive Rituxin treatments every other month. This is a two year maintenance treatment unless the scans show my cancer has returned.
Hi @maisyann, welcome to Connect.
I'm tagging @kjs1015 @aamarion @diana63 @djzlady96 to see if they will return to talk about their experiences with Non Hodgkin's lymphoma.
Maisy Ann, when were you diagnosed? What treatment are you getting or have you had?

The American Cancer Society has a list of NHL resources that could be helpful to tap into, too: http://www.cancer.org/cancer/non-hodgkinlymphoma/detailedguide/non-hodgkin-lymphoma-additional

I would like to know more about your operation's details and the food that
helped you.
@seekhealth2016, I was negligent in welcoming to Connect. Welcome!
Only in rare cases, is non-hodgkin's lymphoma treated with surgery. Here's more info about treatments used http://www.cancer.org/cancer/non-hodgkinlymphoma/detailedguide/non-hodgkin-lymphoma-treating-general-info
In this thread, @travelgirl asks about health diets for cancer patients. There's some great info there. https://connect.mayoclinic.org/discussion/healthy-diets-for-cancer-patients/
@seekhealth2016 are you currently undergoing treatment for NHL?
@maisyann, how are you doing?
