Post Covid Symptoms and what has helped me.
I have fibromyalgia and post thyroid cancer in 2000. Got Covid May 2022. Have all of the symptoms long haulers experience. Dizziness, hair loss, canker sores in mouth, brain fog, trouble focusing, fatigue, muscle aces and pain, muscle weakness, etc, etc. Have had eye exam with a small spot behind my retina that was not there on exam before Covid. Working with PT doing the same exercises others have explained. Seems that Covid has increased my fibromyalgia symptoms. Working with my primary doctor with treatment. I have started low dose naltraxone and this helps with brain fog, decreasing the pain and helps with sleep. Along with the PT I hope this is going to help in the long haul. I also take an antihistamine for my ears and head stuffiness, thyroid replacement, celexa for anxiety and calcium with vitamin D. Hoping to be on the mend soon. Hope this may help anyone else dealing with this too

Glad to hear that Zyrtec and Pepcid have helped you.
I’m now walking up to 5 miles and continue taking B12.
Each day is another step for me.
If what you are doing is helping you, keep it up. I've found that the more I push myself and try to do more the better off I am. Only do what your body tells you. Good luck to you.
Hi,
Sorry to hear about your health problems.
May I ask - did you have any Covid vaccine? If so, could you tell me which ones?
I have all the symptoms you mention but have never had Covid - just 2 x Pfizer shots and one Moderna booster (after which my internal vibrations etc began)
Hope you can oblige.
Thank you.
Pepcid for relief of Covid symptoms? Is that correct? I will ask my doc.
The first Moderna vaccine changed my life from independent high end living to bed-bound low quality of life, as well as having to cope with a resurgence of multiple old infectious and autoimmune diseases plus new one(s). No other vaccines. I'm 90 yo with many comorbidities.
Why are you taking Zyrtec? I have lost vivid itching. Zyrtec works less than 24 hours. I sit on ice packs 12 hrs s day.
Thanks
So glad you are recovering. Just recently saw your post. I am experimenting right now trying to see if anything works to speed my recovery. I will start walking outside on dry days and gradually increase my range. I will only do this at times of the day when I feel up to it. Your recovery is encouraging!
Thanks for posting info on this. I live in Arizona. Not sure if any hyperbaric place will be ok or not? I do not live in Florida, but at this point trying to get doctor's to really start looking into all of us pre covid healthy people that now have inflammation as the driving force in the body. Trying to just find best ways to help. Thank you again for posting.
I have also started zone 2 training. It’s been so helpful with everything and everyone. I would be happy to share more. I am hosting an educational series. Longevity for the long haulers.
Much of what I’ve learned is complex. But listen to this pod cast and read this study. This is something we can do anywhere.

Pepcid is actually an H2 antihistamine. I take both Pepcid as an H2 antihistamine along with Zyrtec or other non-drowsy H1 antihistamine for my Long Covid. They don’t relieve all symptoms but definitely help.
