Wildfire smoke effect on aneurysms
I was told by dr that I should avoid going out when the wildfire smoke is affecting where I live. That it aversely affects aneurysms. Anyone else hear this?
I would imagine that going out when the air quality is bad would not be good for anyone of course. But just how much worse is it for those with aneurysms?
I see warnings for people with heart or lung diseases but I don't have either issue. Just this ascending aneurysm. And I wonder just what does the smokey polluted air do to it?

smoke increases blood pressure and blood pressure increases are an issue for aneurysms.
Just by being out for a few hours increases it? I know smoking is a big no no but that’s usually everyday! Obviously if the air is very unhealthy it would be bad for everyone. I just wonder when it is in the “bad for sensitive people” category, does that include aneurysms?
Well yes. Smoke increases my bp quickly and I feel awful. HBP is a big problem for aneurysms. So, yes, it's a problem for those with aneurysms. If you are young and healthy, no big deal. But a few hours here and there over time is the way we all get many illness from melanoma of long-term sun exposure over the years, lung cancer from environmental and/or smoking exposures, etc. It's all just a few hours here and there but when you add them up over time, you got a problem.
