Calcium Scoring Test
I just had an EKG come back abnormal.....and had a calcium scoring test. My score was 108. My doctor had me come into his office immediately to put me on low does metoprolol and said to take aspirin everyday. I don't have cardiology appointment till Wed. In the meantime I'm scared to death......is this a real high score and what will happen now? Anyone????

I "believe" it means you have build up, but no obvious stenosis...i.e. CAD. It is good news no blockages of severity! But...that means to now be proactive to ensure it does not progress. Big relief I am sure. Now crack one open and enjoy the weekend!
Lumen is inside of a tube per some online reading. One person described luminal irregularity as a build-up of plaque or a stenosis of the the artery.
Sounds like good news, jaxson!
Yep lol I corrected that above. Glad your ok 🙂
That is fantastic news Jaxson. I have no idea what luminal irregularities means. I tried doing some Google searches and came across that term several times, but nothing really explained what it is. Please let us know when you find out.
