Anyone had experience with OsteoStrong, who is not a franchisee?
Has anyone had experience with OsteoStrong? It suggests you will get a large increase in bone density while using their facility 10 minutes per WEEK. Somewhat pricey at $99 and up per month, but am curious if anyone who is NOT a franchisee, has experienced this program?

Hmm, that’s worrying.
I agree. I feel it was deceptive.
I feel that Osteo-strong is a last ditch effort for many of us living with severe osteoporosis...literally grabbing at straws. In all seriousness...I realize that we who are afflicted with this terrible and debilitating loss of bone structure would love to have an easier plan than wishful thinking and hoping for the best.
I tried Osteo-strong..and I feel that by trying to hold the strength for even those few seconds added to my compression frxs. Too much for weak bones to do..really....
While I chose not to go the pharma way...I am doing supplements and working out more on my own. My DEXA scores have gotten a bit better..so I feel like this is a good plan for me.
To place such a heavy load on our already compromised bones just doesn't make sense to do..and I feel causes more harm than good.
It's hard to imagine that in order to re-gain bone, one has to place such a high degree of weight to achieve. When we're of small stature and weight...it doesn't make sense to further assault our bones in such a dramatic way.
I wish all of you the very best in whatever modality you choose..but please...do your own research and go with your feelings about what would be good for you. I regret my one visit to this place and what I put my bones through...not good for me. My best to you all.
I had the same experience with Osteostrong. I ended up with a spinal fracture. I called the osteoporosis foundation and was told they are not approved by them.
From my very cursory research on OsteoStrong, what they are selling is not science based. They claim 30% improvement in bone density within 6 months. It just seems too good to be true. It’s a big commercial enterprise that is expanding with multiple locations in the country.
They have you sign an agreement..like a no fault thing..which I feel isn't legal..as one cannot sign away their rights against harm caused by another unknowingly using equipment that is used and prompted by their employees with no concerns for the safety of what they are promoting. Someone will sue them eventually and put them out of business..but that will take time and unfortunately..more harm will be caused to unsuspecting clients looking for assistance..but instead getting damaged further. A real 'buyer be ware' .
I’ll need to reassess my Osteostrong membership since my DEXA score decreased by approx 10% on hip measurement over 1.5 years. Have been doing the program with machines for close to a year and taking Evista (older med) since developed jawbone necrosis with prolia. Need to consult with my physician about this and what she thinks but was originally planning to continue for another year to give it a better chance. However, I had pretty much stopped going to the gym and planning to re-join next week, also have weights at home & weight bearing exercises using your own body weight are also good. Walking & jumping supposedly excellent and I do like to walk so have been doing that too since warmer now. Guess could try some jumping but don’t feel my thing, does anyone jump and like just jump in place like you were jumping rope?
I haven’t had one reply that is encouraging re osteostrong, not yet.
Comments todate have been largely emotionally based, ‘enjoying’ it etc. that’s always positive but it’s too subjective for me, I am searching fir people who have experienced bone Re growth from it. Improvements in dexa readings.
Too many unsubstantiated claims are made, Re growth up to 14%. Who>where?how long?
Is there anyone out there who use/used Osteostrong and was informed by an employee that she needed to reach 4.2 before any bone growth was possible? I was certainly not told this!
I go to Osteo Strong in Fort Myers Fl. I have been going for about 6 months and definitely feel stronger. I’ve asked many people there if they’ve had a Dexa Scan and, if they’ve had one, they’ve all said they’ve had positive results. At my franchise I have the same trainer each visit and at the end of the session he puts me through a lot of balancing exercises. I hope this helps. My experience thus far has been very good.
