Please keep an open mind about a variety of health treatments. Remember pine tar was used for children for their colds, blood letting was used to remove impurities, moldy bread were all used as topical ointments and dressings but later penicillin was developed. Women were sometimes dosed with horse saliva as a cure for an impaired libido. Some people may be more sensitive than others. The standard American diet certainly has issues. Some MD's don't believe in leaky gut, I have found treatments by Naturopathic doctors to often be less invasive and help me heal without dependency on drugs. Check out some of Dr Gundry's suggestions, look at your diet, go organic and remove the offending foods. Our bodies each have biological individuality and we are often treated like one size fits all so keep fine tuning. Good luck

I tried his supplement for restoring gut health (weighed 420lbs diagnosed with gastritis) and passed a foot long hardened piece of stool that appearantly had been stuck, (not responding to prunes, raisins, apples, miralax, senna, ….
Now weigh 376

Im my opinion a total scam.

Yes

I just ordered his pills as a last ditch effort to help with my constant diarrhea. I had c-diff 12 years ago and have been a mess ever since. Nothing has helped. I’ve seen specialists and have done research and tried everything these past 12 years. I’m at my end, I’m giving up and accepting the fact that I’m going to be somewhat miserable from now on. I’ve tried so hard. For 12 years. And, his pills aren’t doing anything for me.

Ha! Thanks!
Florestor sounds familiar. That might have been one of the things I tried with the gastroenterologist. And I did use Metamucil for quite a while with no results that I could see. I’ve used potent, prescription probiotics and everything else they could think of. I tried fermented foods, but didn’t stick with it long enough. I’m starting that again and I’m making sure I get plenty of prebiotics.
I’m at the point of going on a spiritual quest for healing my poor intestines!

Metamucil gummies and prune juice has always worked for me...normal bm every day!

I don't know about Dr. Gundry, but I have seen a large number of professional articles about the stomach, and digestive system and how they are learning more and more and more about how it all affects the general immune system.

So, I don't think this field of study is quackery. The articles I have seen have been from major medical institutions.
