I completed treatment in April 2015.....you won't feel any changes, at least I didn't. But I was never sick from hep c....didn't even know I had it. However I had it so long I developed cirrhosis. So hopefully my liver will start healing.
Hi Bob, I had Sovaldi and Ribo for 6 mo. My platelets dropped to 10 prior to treatment and had to have my spleen taken out. 2 yrs later, treatment. I felt lethargic ALL the time prior to treatment, now 3 mo after treatment tired 40 percent of the time. I also was so foggy minded, I could not think straight before treatment, now I am starting to get my brains back ! I had no detection of Hep C at 3 weeks into my therapy. I have to get blood work this week to see how it's going 3 mo after treatment. It's been a very heavy cross to bear, praying this new yr will give me a chance to feel well. I am genoType 3 . Insurance wouldn't cover harvoni for me. How about you? C

I only know of one other person that took harvoni and we both developed tumors...could be a coincidence...I don't know him personally (friend of a friend) I just had to have part of my pancreas and spleen removed. I'm trying to find out if it had anything to do with the drug ???? Please let me know.

Colleen.....Do you know of anyone that developed any serious heath issues after taking harvoni. I took it last year and developed a tumor on my pancreas, don't know for a fact that it's related. But I know of someone else that has the same problem. Could be a coincidence but sure would like to know.

Hi @pagegirl, I did a very quick google search and found several mentions of a potential link between harvoni and liver damage and possibly liver cancer. I found no mention of pancreatic tumours. Has your cancer team suggested that it might be related? Would this influence what type of treatment you would get for the pancreatic tumor?
These are questions I would want to ask my cancer care team.

@pagegirl, what is your doctors' opinion about the side effects of Harvoni?
I have been diagnosed with Hepatitis C and want to know more about good foods to eat and natural remedies to combat this disease without drugs if possible. Also want to consider any info you have on Harvoni Medication?
I went through Harvoni treatment a year 1/2 ago .It will get rid of hep c , but there are many side affects ....some deadly. Although it hasn't been proven....as of yet. I developed cancerous tumors. One on my pancreas, liver, 3 on my lungs. I have read many testimonials today of people with the same issues. Also I only know of 1 other person that has taken the drug, and he is having the same issues, only he's in worse condition than me. I had to have part of my pancreas removed, along with my spleen. Now I am seeing a specialist about the cyst on my lungs. I am now seeking legal advice.

I actually didn't put 2 and 2 together until this week. A man (friend of a friend) whom had also taken harvoni, had developed the same issues I did. Only he's in bad shape. @ months ago I had my spleen and part of my pancreas removed, luckily the tumor was at the tail of my spleen. So now I am diabetic. I go back to see my surgeon next week. I'm going to take this information with me. You should google "Can Harvoni give me cancer" and check this out for yourself. It's scary ! Wish I had.

I have obtained the listing of all side effects reported to the FDA via a FOIA request. You name it and it ha been reported. There have been issues with pancreas and pretty much every other organ in the body. There have been a dozens of reported deaths as well from such things as respiratory failure, cardiac arrest, brain hemorrhage, etc.
