What helps improve osteoporosis without medication?
Hello, did anyone here try to heal from osteoporosis away from all the prescribed medications we all know of? Did you try following a specific diet? Excercise? Meditation, etc. ? Thank you

Thank you dmanduca! I talked to my husband and we've decided to buy a mardyne LiV device soon. We can both benefit and hopefully I can enhance the effects of my diet, exercise, and bisphosphanate.
And I would rather spend money on that and hopefully avoid something like Evenity!
I’ve been considering Marodyne LiV. Please let us know if your next dexascan show’s improvement.

Sure, I will let you know if my next DEXA scan shows improvement. I really feel good after each vibration treatment. Just standing up with good posture for 10 to 20 minutes a day doing absolutely nothing difficult feels good.

You and I are on the same program except I use the LiV 3x a day. I tried Evenity for 4 months but got taken off of it due to side effects. My Dexa scan is in November. Fingers crossed. I’ve also added 5 prunes a day and two kiwis. I’ve increased my protein too.
dmanduca,
Three times a day on the LiV is great! I am impressed. You must be very organized to make that happen. Actually, I really enjoy using the machine. I have a TV screen nearby and I always find interesting YouTube videos to watch on topics I like to learn about.
I do eat six prunes a day with my oatmeal. I used to be very enthusiastic and was eating eight a day, but then I cut down to six. I didn't know kiwis were beneficial for bone density. Maybe I will add that to my diet.
I hope your DEXA scan shows great improvement!
Debra
Has to be the green kiwis. They have a lot of vitamins especially vitamin K.
I had also not heard about kiwis for bone density; only to relieve constipation.
Considering non-pharmaceuticals, I recently read that lactobacillus reuteri was helpful in reducing osteoporosis. Does anyone have experience with this?
Thank you.
Thinking about the marketing angle, I wonder whether claims that lactobacillus reuteri decreases osteoporosis is actually accurate or simply promoted by supplement makers.
Here is a study https://rdcu.be/c8uLO
'Thank you. Struggling through that study, I couldn't find the amount of cfus of Lactobacillus reuteri ATCC PTA 6475 given or how significant the seemingly miniscule changes actually affected the likelihood of future fractures. Anyone reading this have experience with L reuteri?
