@nodgabnoj thank you! I will give it a try.
@gardeningjunkie thank you! I will get some cilantro the next timeI go out!
Do you know what fish or seafood has the least heavy metals?
I will text you later today or tomorrow about fish.
@gardeningjunkie here is a link I came across recently:

1 ReactionShrimp, scallops, cod, are all pretty low in mercury. If you just Google fish, either low or high, in mercury you will get numerous lists of which are the safest and least safe fish to eat. Wild salmon is also low in mercury. Wild caught, although more expensive, is always best for any fish.

1 ReactionI know what it looks like and am interested in finding a way to lessen symptoms, I am 85 looking for ways to lessen severity and lessen symptoms, itch, red dots, etc.
I've been working in a fish restaurant for the past twenty years. I stopped eating tuna and swordfish about ten years ago, because of mercury, A friend of mine ate sushi almost every day for lunch until the hair on his body started falling off. He found out that it was due to all the tuna he had been eating. My cousin who is in his 80's today had all the fillings in his teeth removed and replaced about 4 years ago. After about 2 years of dormancy, my GD has reappeared, although in a limited way, thank goodness. It's just reminding me how insidious it is !!

2 ReactionsI ate lots of tuna and swordfish in the past, now I limit it. Same goes with mussels. Like you nodjabnoj after several years of dormancy I started getting the beginning of a GD outbreak a few months ago and began blending up cilantro again a few times a week on and off for a month. It calmed but I still have a few minor areas so have resumed cilantro about every other day. Insidious yes and let's hope for us the suffering years are behind us.
