Continued Post-Nasal Drip and Constant Mucus in Throat
I was sick the last week or January/first week of February. Home Test-negative, rapid PCR-negative. All COVID symptoms and known prolonged exposure to infected individuals make me believe it was COVID. Since then, I have had a tremendously hard time dealing with post-nasal drip and mucus collecting in my throat. It is clear, sticky and almost impossible to remove from throat by coughing or clearing my throat. Flonase does nothing, allergy pills do nothing. Had anyone else had an issue like this post COVID? How long did it last? What did you do to cope? Small problem in comparison to others that post here, I realize.

I have the same. I wake up in the middle of the night and when I swallow a lot of salty sticky mucus, I get heartburn. I never had headaches or allergies for 38 years but now I have constant sinus pressure of the right side of my head. Nothing is working.
Any luck?
Almost 3 years for me too. I have a weird feeling in my upper chest and left side from constantly trying to clear my throat cough. My cough is never productive, only "snot rockets' produce the wood glue.
Mine my throat clearing started right after I took the vaccine Pfizer, two shots back in April 2021. Now today I see where the CDC is launching an investigation into possible "safety concern" over the covid vaccine.
I lost my best friend last year, February 6th (Bob Marley's B-Day) due to "Heart Attack" He was almost 53 years old. He had two Johnson and Johnson shots. He said he was light headed and need some air. I went out to check on him and he was sitting at a picnic table with his head down. I shook him and he "woke up" saying he was fine. His head dropped again so I shook him harder this time. He popped back up and said to call the paramedics. They worked on him for 20 minutes to no avail. He also had blood coming from his nose and mouth.
the mucus and thick white exudate is common during and following an infection of COVID. In the fall of 2022, the Omicron virus was around and very infectious. It is a viral change from the original virus--called a mutation. It is advisable to accept the mucus and white sticky stuff from the nose for about 6 months to a year following infection. This is the advice from an infectious diseases specialist. I had a very bad bout of COVID started Nov 1st and was ill 2 weeks,--then another 2 weeks of feeling ill, coughing [dry cough] nose blowing. It is now January 16 and the stuff remains. twice after I was well, I still tested positive for COVID! I have tried the rinsing with a light salt solution, and it helps clear some mucus. I also have a honey tea x2 daily and that helps. If it is local honey it is better if you have pollen allergies. I have noticed [but not recommending] crying, but I have had occasion to cry when a friend died and I noted that blowing my nose gently cleared up a lot of he nasal sticky stuff.
The mucus and nasal secretions are a method our body is using to assist in healing us. I have the patience to wait until I am well. We will all be well!
I'm having the same things since I had Covid in December. Did you ever get this resolved?
Hi, did your post nasal drip ever go away? If so, how did you solve it? I have the same think now. Three months of it. It’s driving me crazy 🤦♂️
I’m Feb March 2020 still coughing up yellow phlegm
