Thyroid? Or something else? Constant internal shakiness

Posted by amtxo1989 @amtxo1989, Feb 26, 2018

Going on 2months now everyday non stop. Sometimes mild and im able to ignore it but over the hours of day it becomes more severe and causing my heart rate to go up and my blood pressure to go very high (170/99) its episodic. Ive been to hospital for it 3 times for it and received no treatment as my vitals slowly return to normal. Xanex helps me feel calm but does not help the shakiness just helps me not get upset about it. Am only 28 years old and hypothyroid. I have never had symptoms like this in my entire life just started out of nowhere. Iam in good sTate of mind and aware of what's happening when the episodes happen. So far my doctors are clueless.

Hi I also have internal shakiness but I call it electricity. Not sure if we have the same symptom. I have it in my legs (calves) bad and over the last few years in my hands. It gets much worse if I don't sleep well. I also need pain killers for it as the vibrations don't stop and the shakiness is also painful after I start feeling it for 5 minutes. Nothing else has helped me. I am also hypothyroid. It was also spreading to the bottom of my lumbar. I had that for a week and I did read on line that there is not enough calcium in your body and the nerves are not connecting and can cause this tremor. This person recommended taking Tums - since I was desperate for it not to be in another spot in my body I did take Tums , the first 2 weeks every day just 2 or 3 at the most. And believe it or not that stopped the vibrations in my lower back. Who knows? I now take Tums about 3 or 4 times a week to make sure, if they are helping to stop this weird electricity, that I have enough calcium in my system. Maybe it is part of a calcium issue? NO dr. in 20 years has any idea why this happened but it happened to me at the exact same time my thyroid went. I am sorry that this is going on at only 28, but maybe the Tums might help you.

My 36 year-old son has an autoimmune disorder caused by high levels of mold at his father’s house that started years ago and is still not remediated! He’s been living with me to get out of the mold for 2 years. He hates it here, but I’m retired and can take care of him. He complains of vibrations and shakiness all the time, among a plethora of other things. It’s heartbreaking. I had it before, but his isn’t going away, and was exacerbated by Covid which seemed to start his entire body on fire, or something. I’m going to follow the Covid recovery group.

What autoimmune disease does he have? Is it controlled?
Has your son been able to see some good doctors or gotten help with his mold toxicity?

Wondering if the neem and holy basil gives you relief?

Same thing started happening with me on 3rd June and went upto 16th July. I have thyroid and my heart rate used to go to 120-150 at rest. But when I got admitted all vitals were normal.
This is a start of autoimmunity may be. I took Ayurvedic treatment for this. Now it’s not there.

Please see a neurologist, for essential tremors which are extremely common. You have to be very careful if you are unsteady as you might fall. I have had them for fourteen years. They started in my hands only, now they sometimes shake, & the last time my whole body shook was for a whole week. I also have MS. This is why you need to see a specialist to distinguish the different problems, once I saw a bunch of movement specialists about five years ago at a very well known hospital & had to stop going. They were no help at all. If you look at my profile you will see the lists of different issues to look at. I have 4 rare diseases, ms, fibro, mgus, sjogrens(which have taken most of my teeth) & my rheumatologist has made it my primary disease as it can also rupture your organs. I also have ehlers-danlos hyper mobility only, non genetic. I am the only one in my family with anything. Rods in my legs from falls, used a walker for last 20 years, and electric scooter last 3 years. I have never been depressed. I also see a DO Dr who does gentle OMT'S which have relaxed my muscles as I have also neck, back issues like most of the population. These doctors are specifically trained in this type of procedure. I have had immense luck going to these doctors. They just gently move my arms & legs & insurance pays, feels like a massage.

I've been using my own protocol for pain that might be appropriate for vibrations. Two supplements, one is Taurne (Now brand), 2x/day between meals. Taurne is an essential amino acid that supports neurological function. I paired it with boron, essential mineral for strong bones, but I also read it helps relieve pain. Less pain is likely better health and function. Use any brand, 3 mg., 2 x/day betwee taurine and food. Reduced my joint pain and neuropathy to the pint that for many hours a day, I am comfortable. a miracle. Both are essential to human function. so trying hs s noninvasive, should you feel so inclined. Have you had any success with medical or group help? Wishing you a happy Thanksgiving, and a return to robust health and enjoying lfe.
