Thyroid? Or something else? Constant internal shakiness

Posted by amtxo1989 @amtxo1989, Feb 26, 2018

Going on 2months now everyday non stop. Sometimes mild and im able to ignore it but over the hours of day it becomes more severe and causing my heart rate to go up and my blood pressure to go very high (170/99) its episodic. Ive been to hospital for it 3 times for it and received no treatment as my vitals slowly return to normal. Xanex helps me feel calm but does not help the shakiness just helps me not get upset about it. Am only 28 years old and hypothyroid. I have never had symptoms like this in my entire life just started out of nowhere. Iam in good sTate of mind and aware of what's happening when the episodes happen. So far my doctors are clueless.

Have any of you ever considered or been diagnosed with Dysautonomia. It can have a huge impact on your neurological system and can affect your organs tremendously! Just a thought. My daughter has been diagnosed with it and her arms and legs hurt. It’s an internal pain. She has so many symptoms that are very much like those described in this thread. After getting some treatment at Cleveland Clinic she's much better. Her treatments consist of wearing compression socks, drinking lots of water/fluids such as those IV fluid replacements you can purchase at a grocery store. Getting IV Fluids at an ER when extremely symptomatic. Dizziness, feeling crazy like in her head or being off balance. Extreme sleepiness at times needing a 30 minute or so nap then kicking right back to normalcy. It can be very debilitating. This is just a thought bc Dysautonomia can be debilitating. She has episodes with it and then some days it affect her all day. Her issues are caused by a sleep disorder, but it can be caused by many many things.

I was suffering from similar symptoms, have atrophic gastritis, was deficient in B12 and ferritin was low, iron supplements have helped reduce internal vibrations.

It might be a cancer your body is fighting

Has any doc suggested allergic (histamine) reaction triggered by Covid or Cov vaccines? There have been diverse strange problems associated with histamines reactions to both. Suggested treatment I have read is combo Loratidine and Pepsid famotdine. I don't knoe the combo ratios. I would be trying this because it is non invasive and if it works, an empiriical support for a histamine reaction and relief. If it doesn't work, it eliminates that hypothesis. Maybe someone who is taking this treatment protocol and knows the Rx amounts of each and how used can join the discussion. I would be interested in this info for my own reasons as well. Have urnary blocking and frequency that I believe has a histamine basis. Wish you well for finding a solution to your vibrations.

Interesting hypothesis, and actually my symptoms began after my first Covid vaccination. Is there a lab test for histamine level, etc?

I just checked google and saw multiple ads for ALLERGISTS offering blood tests for histamine intolerance. I'm such a "cowgirl". So many medical tests havefailed with me because of my combination of problems, I would try the Covid histamine cure, which I have seen descrbed by group members. Perhaps joning Facebook Neuro V Long-Haulers, C. vaccine injured sufferers, you can share your vibtation symptoms and talk with someone who has found relief. Join the Fb group anyway. Sounds as if you are vaccine injured. Happy huntng and blessings.

I have taken synthroid for years due to thyroidectomy. My Drs. still cannot get the disease correct. I have bottles of it. My shaking is due to TSH being too low, I have it externally as well as internally. I take lorazepam and it helps.

There can be so many reasons. But, I have had that internal vibration since I was a kid, and my left had has always been a little shaky. The first time I asked a doctor about it, I was 19 and in the hospital for hepatitis. He didn't know. Mostly when I have mentioned it to doctors (I'm now 79) they would say they didn't know and I usually got "the look." Anyway, recently the shakiness got really bad and my doctor thought I had Parkinsons. Sent me to a neurologist -diagnosed with Essential Tremor Plus (Katharine Hepburn had it, but I don't have the head shakiness yet). The shakiness was getting worse because I was on Cymbalta, so got off the drug. But, again, there can be so many reasons and the only way to find out is to rule things out. Good luck to you.

I had internal tremor when I was attempting to slowly stop my lexipro. I was under my drs direction to slowly decrease . When I hit a certain point in the dose in the med the tremors began . Dr insisted I stay on the medication.
No recurring issue
