Wide spread deep burning pain, also musculoskeletal pain, multiple back surgeries, Massage and trigger point therapy and so many things help temporarily, but, my insurance doesn’t pay for so much of this. Please advice.
Calygirl.

I too have 4 compression fractures from Osteoporosis as well , 66 yrs old . Have you tried by chance a intercostal nerve block? I had one after a Kyphoplasty but did not have good luck… I hope to have radio frequency nerve ablations next month. I only had pain when I exercised until I sadly went to a Chiro that injured me. Hoping you find something to help you….

I appreciate your reading and responding to my post. We all need encouragement here. I realize the counselor was doing her best with a sleep-deprived, teary, frustrated, angry old lady, tired of pain and increasing limitations on mobility and independence.
Like you, I have nerve issues (poor balance due to peripheral neuropathy). I do try to keep moving.
The thought of an electric cart didn't occur to me - it would limit my pain and enable me to grocery shop for myself. Worth exploring.

I'm sorry to hear that your pain increased when a Chiro injured you!
My medical provider only mentioned a kyphoplasty, but I declined based on his saying my unstable fractures were probably too severe to support one. I haven't heard of intercostal nerve blocks or radio frequency nerve ablations. From what I briefly read, a nerve block uses a steroid - might that worsen osteoporosis?
Yes that’s a good point about the steroid with osteoporosis I had asked my provider and he said that the amount he was using was safe. My next step will be the radio frequency ablation I had one done in the past and my SI area and it was very effective. I have an integrative pain management doctor. Praying that this works because I like you have severe pain in that area. Good luck to you , I hope one of these options might work for you.
I am so sorry Calygirl. I wish someone would take your pain away. I hope you know that others care a lot for you, and I hope you can get some relief.
Hello @calygirl84. I am so sorry to hear of your chronic pain from your varying diagnosis. You will notice that I have moved your post into an existing discussion with others who also have chronic pain so that you may find solace in not being alone. You can find it here: https://connect.mayoclinic.org/discussion/are-there-any-discussions-for-chronic-pain/
Members such as @lioness @queenmother56 and @kimmiesue55 have recently shared in this discussion and may be able to come back in to share with you.
Do you feel there is a correlation between your 23 and Me results and your health?
@calygirl84 I have moved this post into the Chronic Pain discussion here too: https://connect.mayoclinic.org/discussion/are-there-any-discussions-for-chronic-pain/
