Positive ANA: What might be the cause?
Hello,
I am reaching out to anyone who has had a positive ANA blood test result. I aced Rheumatology testing and I believe that Mercury toxicity is the cause. Does anyone have a similar case or know somebody who does..? TY..!

You should get tested for hyperparathyroidism if your calcium is high. The doctor should order a blood test to include Vitamin D, PTH, and Calcium in 1 draw preferably 1st thing in the am. Hyperparathyroidism can cause a multitude of symptoms. I had surgery 2-1/2 weeks ago.
I been getting it check since March and results are normal last time I got it check on may also a thyroid ultrasound it was normal can this happen and still be thyroid issue ?
I will ask for the other test to be done this is so exhausting I know something is wrong but they can’t figure out
What symptoms did you got how long did the diagnosis took and what test were done to diagnose it
I was just checking I got Thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH) test and ultrasound no the one you mentioned I will ask my doctor about that test
Hi calcium level in blood. Peeing all the time, insomnia, aching bones, anxiety,
Oh ok I have those symptoms Did the doctor only did the pth test to diagnose it
Please don't panic. I did as well when I found out mine was positive but only slightly. I am still getting tested as they still have not found out what is causing the issues I have. Somedays I have no issues and others it hits me all day.
Oh that’s weird did you have any body symptoms
As far as I understand it, many of us have the genetic markers from ancestors who had RA or other auto-immune disease. However, it was not expressed until an environmental stress activated it. I've lived with it for 26 years, and basically I think I am allergic to modern foods, and have made lifestyle changes to avoid stress and overdoing, include exercise and good rest. At the time of diagnosis, I was divorcing, working a job that required a long commute in a big city. Of course, in hindsight, I had symptoms for years before. A good book is The Body Keeps Score...many of us had abusive relationships, severe infections, grew up with alcoholic parents, etc. It is a permanent, progressive disease so we chase the symptoms and amend diet and lifestyle to make it easier to cope. I have not gone the Naturalist route, but combine my doctors advice, non-processed diet and movement.
