Brachioradial pruritus. (severe itching on forearms and neck, no rash).
Does anyone know of this. I think its rare but does exist. My neurologist does not know about this. I have compression between my c5 and c6 cervical disk and have had alot of sun damage to my skin.

Again I recommend AMATZU (the treatment goes back hundreds of years) and it really works.
What is that explain
Try clove
Oil mixed with a little water. I believe from all I have read that it is
Nerve endings from your spine and neck and the nerves are attached to ur arms etc. Try using the oil and keep ur skin moisturized all the time and keep all problem areas away from light as this problem seems to be photo sensitive. I always ware long sleeves as my problem is on my arms. I TRULY got great comfort from taking amitriptaline (sorry about spelling) which was prescribed by my GP. Thank God for them they have
Made a big difference and of course u know to use ice when the itch is very bad.
Yes I have and I have to say the amitriptyline really really works about 85%of the time. May I also suggest clove oil mixed with a little water and rub it on arms and keep skin moisturized and away from sun light In fact keep area covered. I can manage my problem now but I am going to have Amatzu treatment on my back and neck will keep u informed.
Don’t be so sad - please take my advice and go to a nutritionist who will arrange for the immune tests to be carried out - they never prescribe drugs they are only interested in what is causing the problem and then to help u to get well. I have BRP and an autoimmune problem which does not like gluten but loves probiotic and
Prebiotics I find Nutritionist fantastic unlike doctors they want to find the cause and they arrange tests that doctors never even mention.
Are you asking me what is Amatsu ? Amatsu is a treatment used in Japan for hundreds of years. Amatsu is a whole body treatment
that after thorough assessment to find the root cause of the problem. Because of the principles of biotensegrity this means that treating the right point will have a positive effect on the rest of the body too. The treatment is so gentle that you may fall asleep. If you are interested please google Amatsu Therapy International. I have attended Amatsu treatment for my back up to two years ago and It always works. I am having my first treatment for BRP on this Monday 19th November. Will keep you informed.

I have had this arm-itch (brachioradial pruritis) since 2003, my best friends are ice-packs. Going to Yoga 3 times per week, was a miracle , the arm-itch went away... so another year passed and silly me quit going to Yoga, now the arm-itch is back again the past year. I just returned to Yoga with hope that it will go away again.
If yoga doesn't work this time, I will go to the NUCCA who apparently may help this problem, read up on NUCCA (Chiropractic) I shall keep you posted.
i had that treatment didn’t work for me
