Hello, I use an eye mask with moisture spray at night, Restasis, autologous eye drops, and preservative free drops during the day. Love the eye moisture mask BTW.
I use moist heat at night to improve oil gland function but would love to hear about this eye mask!
Do you ever see flashes of light in the morning before you put drops in?

What are the plugs that your talking about. What size are they? And the actually go into your eyes. Is this for Dry Eyes. My eye specialist told me that I need a Tear Duck Bypass. Have you or anyone else heard of this? The surgery is called DCR for short. Thanks for any replies in advance.
There is a lot of garbage out there. I have tried so many of them including xxxxx and perhaps all of the others but of to no avail. Too me it is a way of getting your money without the relief. But then again who am I? P.S. Some of these products have made my dry eyes worse with much pain. Good luck.
@tboyd5000 , they are punctal plugs, fitted to and placed in your tear ducts so the tears you make stay in your eye instead of draining out.
I was very happy with them, but they fell out after a few months, I had them replaced, but when out again, over the years, it seemed my tear ducts (puncta) were too small so I am back to drops and Restasis.
I hope it works out for you!
Did they make an incision outside by your upper nose and the upper inner corner of your eye. I have to have the DCR surgery and was hoping you could give me some details on how it all went for you and about how long your recovery time was before you could get out and go places again. Did they put you under anesthesia? Thank you very much for any information you may pass on to me. @tboyd5000 (Teresa)
My opthalmologist recommended getting a Bruder mask. I ordered it on Amazon. You put it in the microwave for 20 seconds..let it cool a bit if two warm and place over eyes. Have only used a few times but it does seem to stimulate the glands to produce more tears and does create moist environment. Just have to be diligent about using it.
I am on Restasis for my dry eyes. My eye physician gave me samples of Xiidra to try. I did like it but my insurance wouldn’t pay for it so I stuck with the Restasis.
Xidra really burned my eyes. I found Systane preservative-free in little daily tubes on Amazon at a very reasonable cost. Easy to use and doesn't burn my eyes.

I went through the Systane, Restasis and other drops. I finally got and ophthalmologist that recommended "Soothe" for me. It has a slight oil component. I been using it for several years now - not perfect but none of them are.
I have horrible dry eyes and was a big reader (still manage newspapers). Love audio books! Added advantage is the readers voice often puts me to 😴. Kind of like reading your child a bedtime story. The library has so many eaudiobooks.
When I wake up of a morning sometimes my left eye is stuck, not matted and I have to use my two index fingers to gently open it, once it’s open the rest of the day is ok as far a opening. I was wondering if it could also be weak muscles in my eye. I have a blocked tear duct and a very dry eye. Also when the air hits my eye I squirt because it hurt real bad.
At symptoms or advice would greatly be appreciated. I’ve had this since the middle of January 2022 and they want to do the DCR to open up my tear duct. Not too excited about that but I need to get something done. My eye gets real filmy and sticky around my eyelids/lashes at times too. Any familiar symptoms or advice would greatly be appreciated. Thank you!

Hi please see the link below for more infor about the eye mask. The only time I've ever seen light flashes is when I had vitreous detachment.

Does this make you see blurry since you said it has a little oil in it? Thank you.
