Does anyone have experience with GABA for sleep?

Nice to hear that @paulalina! Yoga has also helped me tremendously in improving my sleep. I also practice gentle yoga: hatha and nidra. Nidra, is also known as yoga sleep. Have you tried it?
Thank you for sharing this book of Thich Nhar Hahn.

I went to a Sleep Physiologist who works at the UA Sleep department for cognitive behavior. It entailed keeping a diary he gave me and he entered the info into an algorithm. It is working well, using a lot less drugs to try to get to sleep. The two big ideas, for me, were to get up at the same time every morning (I like 7 am) and to go to bed within the window of the hours I think I need to sleep. I avoid late afternoon naps, as well. I try for 10 pm, which is 8 to 9 hours. Stop eating a couple hours before and the usual sleep hygiene stuff. I am also going to get some help with my CPAP, to see if it can work better. I was using THC/CBD tincture, percoset, NSAID and sleep yoga. It was ridiculous routine and I find the changes I made so much easier.
Have you consulted and/or worked with sleep doctors on your insomnia? It would help to know what you have already tried for discovering the root of your sleep problems, in order to respond more helpfully to your comment/question.
Yes, I actually have Yoga Nidra on my ipod for listening to. You are welcome.

Great @paulalina. I use the app InsightTimer, it has great yoga nidra practices. If you wish, it will be a pleasure to share some practices with you. On YouTube there are also some yoga nidra practices of Swami Satyananda Saraswati, who is closely associated with the modern form of yoga nidra.
Have a great day!

Why do you have deleted on your messsge?
@cmd
Hahaha,
You can’t delete everything from a post or if you can I don’t know how.
Having Epilepsy when I saw “GABA” I immediately thought of the seizure medicine Gabapentin and was thinking they might be using it for the side effect of drowsiness. Seizure patients on Gabapentin often refer to it as GABA.
I was just pointing out some possible flaws if using a seizure medicine for that purpose.
Take care,
Jake
It may be a nickname but GABA is not gabapentin.
