2 Aneurysms

I was told when my thoracic aneurysm was found since I had no idea when it started they would scan every 3-6 months to monitor … I had a 6 month scan and mine had not grown- my 2 were in unique positions so I still ended up at Mayo for a repair soon after but not because of size. They did estimate that mine was probably there for many years. I think there are so many factors that go into growth- integrity of vessel, reasons behind aneurysm, and so on. In my opinion best to find a Dr who puts your aneurysm with your situation and body instead of just following the standards. Standards are guides not gospel. That is why I had my surgery when I did.
