What's outside of your picture window today?
As we get ready for the real winter to show up and COVID-19 still playing a major part in our lives I like to spend moments of my day de-stressing about what's going on in the world today. All I have to do is look out the window and observe some of natures beautiful creatures, how they interact and ponder how small it makes my troubles seem. Sometimes I may even get the opportunity to take a photo or two. How about you? Anything going on outside of your window(s) that you want to share?
For those members that have the ability to size your photos before you upload them to the discussion, may I suggest using the following sizes:
– 500 x 335 pixels (landscape)
– 210 x 210 pixels (square)

@loribmt. Hah! That's alright for you to say.
I might be scarred for life. 😆 🤣 😂 XOXO ❤
@artist01 I'm so happy that you did finally get your booster despite the errors. That was terrible that they forgot you! Hopefully the precautions you took while waiting for the shot will have prevented you from getting any Covid germs.
In the spirit of this group, outside of my window the trees seem to be dying without having had much color. This has seemed to be a dismal year for foliage here in NH. I walked at my favorite place yesterday, a "rail trail" and this was the foliage - not spectacular but OK. I read in the local news though that we will get better foliage, this year's weather has caused it to be later than typical. I am hoping that is right. It's so glorious to see the reds and oranges here.
I added photos but for some reason they are not showing up!

@contentandwell . Thankyou for your message and your commiserating with me! 🤣 Yes, you're absolutely right about that. The important thing is that I got the booster! 😊
It's sad that your trees aren't cooperating by showing off their glorious autumn colours. I think that's happening in a lot of areas this year. Darned climate change is the culprit, I'm sure. Maybe next year? We hope. Warm regards, Laurie.
Final attempt here. Due to the drought my maples are not beautiful this year, but due to the blessed rain we have these. Reference point, I am a tall girl with giant feet. Lol
Lovely ‘shrooms!! AND i love your shoes!! 💕
Thank you, There was two pictures but it kept rejecting for a couple of reasons, I said ok, one more try. This is the largest one at about 6”or 7” across. The shoes are wool clogs by halflinger.
😂😂 Oh honey, you’ll be just fine. Giggle. Nothing a good fur-fix can’t take care of! Here’s today’s therapy moment. My daughter’s cat, Alvin. Apparently there’s a bird outside he’s finding quite interesting.
Hi, @loribmt and everybody. I'm only kidding. I'm just fine!
I have to milk it for all it's got, don't I? giggle.
I'm extremely busy downsizing and decluttering my full size apartment in preparation for heading to my tiny bedroom at long term care. I'm fine with that too! I'm kinda' excited for this new chapter in my life. 😊
Cheers. Laurie
@loribmt. Oh, I love the alert little kitty picture. I had a cat just like that back in the day, named Georgia (O'Keefe). I called her Georgie. Sweetest cat I ever had. ❤
Oh you know I’m just kidding right back!! LOL. I know you’re fine. After all you’ve been through?? Pfft, being forgotten for a vaccine would not be something that would rattle you for very long.
I’m so glad you’re feeling better these past few weeks and being able to work on your big move!! I love how you embrace changes, m’dear. You are one tough cookie! Hugs.
