What's outside of your picture window today?

Posted by John, Volunteer Mentor @johnbishop, Nov 25, 2020

As we get ready for the real winter to show up and COVID-19 still playing a major part in our lives I like to spend moments of my day de-stressing about what's going on in the world today. All I have to do is look out the window and observe some of natures beautiful creatures, how they interact and ponder how small it makes my troubles seem. Sometimes I may even get the opportunity to take a photo or two. How about you? Anything going on outside of your window(s) that you want to share?

For those members that have the ability to size your photos before you upload them to the discussion, may I suggest using the following sizes:
– 500 x 335 pixels (landscape)
– 210 x 210 pixels (square)

I cannot imagine what you are going through. I know that this world has changed so much. Bring back the memories of earlier days. I pray you don't have this situation anymore. Take care.

Thank you for your concern and prayer. Those awful people are permanently gone and this will never happen again here. Tonight out my window I saw stars and planets, I believe mars and Venus.

My wife and I are back from a week in Branson, Missouri. There, we had a condo with a lovely view of Table Rock Lake.

Beautiful photo and area Scott! I've only been there twice with relatives but each time was a fantastic experience. I thoroughly enjoyed dining at the Keefer Center at the College of the Ozarks (https://www.keetercenter.edu/Dine/Dining). Mostly volunteer students enrolled at the college to help with their tuition but it's a farm to table type dining and really good.

Yes! My wife and I are supporters of COTO.
We regularly buy student-made products, from their excellent apple butter to stained-glass pieces.

I see no more drug dealing and aggressive people! These people were thrown out of our nice building in the nice part of town recently after many months of a living nightmare here. How they got in here is a mystery. Now I see a peaceful parking lot, trees, grass and sky!

@johnbishop, if I ever get to Branson, I'll check out the Keefer Center. 👍
