Does anyone use medical marijuana for Sjögrens? I see in Illinois it is one of the conditions listed for which medical marijuana can be prescribed.

Hello lexie and phyllism, I think that there may be different causes and treatments for BMS. After ten years of trying different methods, I find the greatest relief comes from Klonipin and a laser. I don't think that hormonal testing will help (I had a hysterectomy and there was no change.) Changes in the weather also make a difference as my BMS also involves some arthritis. I have read that women have this condition more often than men.

Hi Lauren
You mentioned in an earlier post that klonopin and laser are the only things that help with your BMS.
I am very interested in hearing more about the laser therapy. I have found a dentist who has an MLS laser
and I’m thinking about trying it on my mouth.
Can you tell me more about your experience with laser treatment?

@meadowhouse, What I have learned is that some people respond well and some do not. I don't know what an MLS laser is. I purchased a Terraquant laser on line after it seemed to help. The important point is that it needs to be used daily. Only then will you know if it helps. Good luck and keep me posted, please.

I am currently trying to make an appointment with a chiropractor near me who has the MLS laser. I will let you know how I make out. There is another chiropractor who has a cold laser unit but it is different than the MLS one I had read some positive things about.

@mamajomclane, what is a MLS laser?

Hi everyone. So, what's the story with this MLS laser? Also, does amitriptyline, or calcium channel blockers have any success with other BMS sufferers ? So far, after three plus years, nothing has worked ! Regards Stu
