I will be ordering the hard copy of this book. Will let ypu know how it is anx how it applies to myself. What I can take away from it.
My biggest issue with PD is counseling. I onlyam able to receive a limitex amount of counseling sessions. 4 to br exact, then I need to pay. A same. Well I will ask to see what else is available.
Other than that I am experiencing severe sleep issues. Is this pary of having PD. This is what I have been told. Not sleeping, than too much sleep. Very aggravating
Thanks again
Tbank you for your kind words. I shall try. My doctor is also tryong to figure this out as well.

Knighthins- can I ask if you have ever deal with constant pain in both legs from the Parkinson;s>? Thanks . JJames
Jjames. I know u r awaiting response from knighthines. I experience tightness in mornings but as long as i bike(stationary) and do BIG exercise each morning at home and attend pedaling for PD 3 times week at health club i feel better...not great but ok. Still trying to put my arms around the diagnosis.
So good to hear from you on Connect again, JJames (@johnjames). How are you doing?
Hi Colleen- thanks for the note, I'm glad to be back- I was told I'm in stage 4 two weeks ago, it's started when I could get up from sitting down in a chair for over 45 minutes. I guess that one of the side affects of stage 4. One things I would like to ask everyone with Parkinson's- " Do you suffer from leg pain???" Thank you- and if so , what do you do that helps. Thank you, JJAMES.
@Jjames I have missed you and said prayers for you during the past few weeks. Wasn't sure if I was missing things or if things were not going well for you. My heart hurts for you but you have such a strong spirit. My Tom suffered from leg pain. - I think. He was unable to communicate but when II touched him, he hurt, I could tell. Nothing seemed to help him but he was at the beginning of the end. JJames, you are such a role model for all of us who have dealt with Parkinsons - in ourselves or someone we love - you are in my thoughts and my prayers. Please if I can help in any way let me know. I fee as if you are my friend because you helped me so very much by your kind words. Prayers, my friend, for healing acceptance, and no pain.
@tntredhead Thank you for still connecting with our Parkinson's group, it is good to know that you still think of us. We certainly appreciate the kind care you gave to Tom. Teresa
@johnjames Yes, we do have a lot in common! I also grew up in Detroit and went through the Detroit Public School system, I lived on the east side of Detroit, near the Grosse Pointe Park area. Teresa
