Vitamin D and upper respiratory issues

There was a quick blurb on GMA regarding Vitamin D3. It is supposed to help stave off Virus in certain members of population, and helping in upper respiratory issues. All this according to Dr. Jennifer Ashton, who recommends no more than 4,000 iu's per day. Overdose may mess up some of organs, such as kidney, etc.

@mrbill Thanks for providing that information. I also believe that Vit D3 is very important. Can you define "GMA"?

@mrbill- Good morning. Yes, Vitamin D3 has been shown to help fight off COVID-19, but we are still in eaerly stages of studies. Ask your doctor to test for Vitamin D. If you need it then that's a different story.
