How are you supporting someone who has COVID-19?
Do you know someone personally who has the COVID-19 virus or suspects they may have the virus and are in self-quarantine? How are you supporting them?

That's great news Sue @sueinmn. I'm praying for all our nurses, doctors, healthcare, and personnel who serve the communities. Also hoping 3M and other companies can gear up quickly to make more masks and ventilators. Thank you for sharing your repeated pleas to friends, family and acquaintances. My group is smaller but I try to do the same. I do worry about my wife working at different local post offices at age 75. She is in excellent health but sometimes thinks she's invincible. Our daughter works at Mayo in Rochester and I do worry a little about her since she has a pacemaker implant. We haven't had any COVID-19 cases here in Dodge County yet but I'm sure we will sooner or later.
P.S. - We had a trace of snow here last night but it's 22 degrees and the sun is out now. I was surprised to see the sanding truck drive by the house this morning. Must be a little slippery.
Hi @sueinmn @artscaping and @dsh33782, I'm wondering if you would mind hopping over to this discussion to support others with family members who have or may have tested positive for COVID-19? See here

Yes, we can all pray for our healthcare professionals and those many other personnel who serve our communities to keep basic services like utilities, garbage pickups and others well and able to do their jobs.
Just curious, yesterday my e-mail was absolutely flooded with posts from our covid-19 group. Today, not one message in my e-mail box. Has something changed with posts and response deliveries or is it maybe my Yahoo e-mail that has made this difference?
@fiesty76, my mailbox had significantly more emails from the COVID-19 group discussion yesterday also. I would scratch it off to a lot of different factors but not necessarily a change with posts and deliveries...just my opinion though.
@johnbishop Thanks, John. I would like everyone to know my sister works at 3M in Maplewood, and she says they have indeed ramped up to maximum production and shipping of protective equipment in all of their plants - even as they have sent everyone else to work from home.
I would say we need to be equally grateful to our postal workers, factory workers, truckers and supermarket/big box store workers who have stayed on the job despite all the fears about close contact. Please wish your wife well for me and tell her to stay safe.
Sue
Thanks Sue @sueinmn -- We had to drive into Rochester to deposit her check. All the banks are doing drive up window only and will escort a single person at a time to their safety deposit box.
@fiesty76, your email had bounced from Connect's subscription list. Yahoo probably didn't like the volume of emails you were getting from us and suspected we were spam. To prevent this from happening again you can either:
1. [Tip] Filter your Connect emails into a folder https://connect.mayoclinic.org/discussion/tip-filter-your-connect-emails-into-a-folder-1/
2. How to add Connect to your Safe Senders List https://connect.mayoclinic.org/page/about-connect/newsfeed-post/what-to-do-if-you-arent-getting-connect-email-notifications-anymore/
I think the first option works best with yahoo.
Can you mail it in?
Probably could mail it in if we didn't need it in the checkbook to mail other payments in 🙂
@sueinmn Im sorry to hear about your daughter I use to be a E.R. nurse so that part is thought enough blessing to her and you . Being so far away must be hard on you. I pray for her she will be alright .
