Insomnia, depression, anxiety
So here I am it’s 4 am I have been awake since 3 am I often wake up. I can’t go back to sleep. I can’t text my friends I could be they would ask why I was texting so early. I tried my usual sleepy time tea, Clonazepam, deep breathing etc etc and I still wake up! I remember when I was I in the hospital I would call the nurse and I would have morphine injected into my IV port and that would help me sleep. I can’t have morphine. OxyContin also made me sleepy. Can’t have that anymore I ran out. It would be so nice if I could get 7-8 hours of uninterrupted sleep. Maybe someday.

I can't believe I don't have the med. and that Walgreens screwed up so much by saying it gave me the drug when it actually was out of it. Yes I can actually believe it with as much as it does not know what it is doing.. This is not the first time something like this has occurred at Walgreens but at a different location. This lack of sleep adversely affects my migraines
@lsittll so you still don’t have your meds?!
Unfortunately not. I'm not going to worry about Walgreens deleting it from the system so I can get it at another pharmacy. It probably wouldn't even know how to do that right either! Last night I didn't need it because I was in bed all day with a severe migraine. This occurs with me with sleep deprivation for long periods of time. I am just using my prescription discount card and paying for it myself! Thank you for caring.
Seraquel is an excellent sleep aid combined with Kolonopin. Ask your doctor. Maria.
I just switched to extended release Melatonin to try to avoid the 3 am wake up.
Thank you Sherman. This is very good information.
Have same issue on sleeping. Never adjust to daylight changing time. Since I use tylenol for pain, i use pm tylenol which has a sleeping aid in it.
A recent study showed that some of us are hard-wired, genetically, to only get limited sleep. I'm at 4 hours, reliably, for many years. I'm fine though...good energy, high functioning. Best not to worry about it.
Trieste here again. I forgot to mention that over the years I have tried EVERYTHING mentioned above - routines, meditation, counting, visualization, pain and sleep medical prescriptions, melatonin and various supplements, room temperature control, and the list goes on and on. Presently I'm on prescription trazodone, but still only reliably get 4 hours of sleep. Oh well... I tried!
Mirtazapine 15 mg?
