Click on the link: https://onlineservices.mayoclinic.org/content/staticpatient/showpage/patientonline
Or you can download the Mayo Clinic app from your device app store.

At the online link above you should see what is in the attached photo. I have highlighted in a box the link you need to click on to create an account with an arrow pointing to it. If you download the app it should guide you through the process of creating an account or signing into a created account.

Are you comfortable with Patient Portal?
More and more I am repeatedly reminded to sign up for a patient portal. I have been uncomfortable with this. I admittedly know little about it other than one can see their test results and message the Dr. To read something without my Dr. to interpret it could cause undue stress and anxiety. What about security breaches? The security in my computer likely falls short of theirs.

How do you feel about it? Pro's and Con's? Ways to mitigate risks? Is it worth it?

@beatitudes, you are asking really good questions about Mayo Clinic's patient portal, called Patient Online Services. I'd like to divide your questions into 2 parts:

1. Concerns about seeing test results before consulting with your doctor to help interpret them is something many members are talking about in general about patient portals. See this related discussion:
- The Patient Portal—Help or Hindrance?: https://connect.mayoclinic.org/discussion/the-patient-portal-help-or-hindrance/

2. Safety and security of patient portals. These portals are a safer way of communicating with your doctors than email. Messages are encrypted.

You can also contact Mayo Clinic concierge services to ask further questions and get help creating an account should you decide to use the patient portal.

Beatitudes, I moved your question about the pros and cons of signing up for the patient portal to this existing discussion:
- Mayo Clinic Patient Portal: How do I find it? Do you use it? https://connect.mayoclinic.org/discussion/mayo-portal/

I did this so that you can read previous posts and connect with members who use the portal like @johnbishop @rosemarya @roch @fourof5zs @hbp and others.

Mayo portal is great. You can make, reschedule or cancel appointments. Test results can be fun to look at. If you think you may have a bad result don't look. Seeing low PSA numbers early are a nice way to calm yourself. Asking questions are so easy. Messages are divided up so many ways. Most of my questions are answered most of the time within an hour. Medicine, care plan and so many other topics can be answered by the care team that doesn't require your doctor. Highly recommend and no security concerns. Very seldom do I need to call. The portal is a great way to speed things up without wasting a lot of time. I have my wife on my portal making it easier for both of us. Eliminates a lot of time to do many things with the Clinic. The Mayo store is also on the portal for supplies. The fun thing is with EPIC you are in contact with other clinics that use EPIC. Doctor can see visits from other places. No need to bring lots of paper for your visit. Wonderful.

Also, when you are at the clinic and forget where to go for your appointment all you need to do is look at your portal. It has all the instructions for your visit.

I could chat forever. Past test results let you see how your are doing. Complete medicine list is there for you and your family to see. Some meds don't work with other meds and you can see what you are on. All of the portal stuff works for me and my wife. Complicated cancer life is so much easier to monitor with the portal. Almost a life saver with so many options.

I like my portal which is not Mayo but it is such an informative thing for u to have to keep utd with your health record.
My portal does not show results until my Dr reviews and then it post results. If something is wrong they call me. Now when I get labs from outside of my portal they list them when they send to my Dr.
I think u will be safe using Mayo portal.
