"Why bother?" What can we do when we are stuck?
This has been brought up before in things that help. Now maybe some can share how we get out of a rut to help ourselves. We all get stuck stuck at times. Curious as to what others do when stuck in that thought mode of "Why Bother?"

@gingerw I have dry mouth as it is I have to use Biotene
@lioness The alcohol/vinegar combo was used as drops into my ears, held there for about 3 or 4 minutes, then head tilted to drain it out.

Glad I have bothered to keep trying to improve my quality of life. We don’t know what the future holds for us. There are times the hardest part is not knowing. I have heard that fear of the unknown is worse part. Living in the moment has been something difficult for me. Working hard to keep the darkness of the past from casting shadows on the present.

How were you able to let go off this thought??
I went to a therapy class and they taught me many things. Our brains come up with all things of thoughts. You can decide which you want to buy into or not. Thoughts are like clouds floating by. Also are the thoughts helpful to you and are they realistic. I often check the facts meaning what do know to be true. It's hard and I'm not always successful.
@parus Fear is the worse ,yes but looking to the future is the anticipation of a brighter day ahead .
