Copd, pulmonary fibrosis, mac bacterial infection and honeycomb lung
My husband has been diagnosed with all four of these and I just want to understand more about what is to be expected. And what I can do to help.

@merpreb thank you but unless my husband changes his mind there is nothing anyone can do
@tmmmrlts- Have you told the infectious disease doctor? I don't understand that dr. either. Shame on him for blowing you off like that.
@@merpreb haven't got hold of him yet he won't be back in office from holiday until monday
@tmmmrlts- I've tried to find on your conversations here if you mentioned why he didn't want to do anything different.
I have been trying to get my husband to go to er or urgent care and he hasn't yet. I'm just trying to get through this. But it is hard with him. He is hurting in his chest on his left side and he gets out of breath to easy. He goes outside and he gets sick from the cold I don't know what makes that happen. He also throws up most of the time when he eats. I'm at a loss for what to do.
@tmmmrlts- When do you next see your infectious disease guy? You know that you can call the ER or urgent care and tell them his symptoms saying that he is getting worse and needs an ambulance...
He is tired of hurting and being sick all the time. He has back and neck problems and a pinched nerve in his back and the neurologist and back dr said he wasn't a good candidate for back surgery this was back in 2011 and now they won't because of his lungs. I think it also has to do with losing our daughter, back in 08 he really hasn't been the same. He is scared to eat sometimes because he throws it up. He has told me the only reason he is living is for his 4 children and 7 grandchildren and not for me.
@merpreb as long as he refuses they cant take him and he would refuse and be angry with me
@tmmmrlts- Oh my. I'm tongue tied. Can you go to counseling?
@merpreb I have to call Monday and talk to his infectious disease dr
