Has anyone experienced internal vibrations?
I started having the only way I can explain it is internal vibrations. I've had them for 3 months now, I went to t hihe ER and they told me it was anxiety. A doctor diagnosed me at a clinic as having Lyme disease I've started a 21-day prescription of Doxycycline I'm on day 7. I went to a psychiatrist a week ago to get something because of my nerves are just over the brink. He prescribed me Gabapentin and Valium I've only been on them a few days.
Has anyone experienced these internal vibrations?I have them almost 24/7 chest neck stomach from the hips down. I have more lab tests that should be in today, but the doctor's office said that they would not call unless there was some abnormality in the lab work.

I forgot to mention another symptom I've experienced about 10 times since this summer. This has only happened at night when I go to bed. All my teeth hurt briefly at the same time. I feel like I'm getting a shock from below the gum line to the top of my teeth in the nerve of the tooth. I feel like I'm feeling the nerve fiber shooting up from below the gum. I haven't read of anyone else experiencing anything like this. Luckily, this is not present that often but I worry that it will become so like the cut feeling I have in my tongue.
My teeth don’t suffer, but I get painful shocks and bizarre pain in my jaw and cheek. My neurologist is a real disappointment as she won’t prescribe because she never has prescribed for me before. I’ve been seeing her for 5 months. I now have an appointment with an MS specialist in January. I’m making a list of my symptoms. Thanks for sharing. I don’t have teeth anymore but I rem ember nerve pain there. It was intolerable. I hope you get relief.
I have this constantly throughout my body. It’s nerve damage. I call it buzzing. It’s like pins and needles but usually not as intense. I haven’t found anything that helps except lying still. The more I move the sharper it gets.
Hi Teresa,
I'm just catching up on my posts but thank you for your thoughtful reply. I will continue to seek health when my latest flare-up subsides and I have the energy to give it a shot. Merry Christmas
And a Merry Christmas to you as well, @jager5210. I hope that 2020 brings you into the acquaintance of a good medical team that is respectful of what you need to understand about your health.
In the event that you see a new specialist, there is a post on Connect that might be helpful to you. It is on the topic of how to approach an appointment with a new specialist. The ideas presented can be quite helpful, especially if you have had negative experiences in the past. Here is the link,

Hi I am a South Asian male age 20. From few days I have problems that at day time I am feeling dizzy not vertigo but feeling unbalanced and that I will fall. After checking for pressure blood all are normal. But in evening time I have internal shaking in all my body. And finally in night 2-3 am I have tremor attack. Like my whole body especially trunk and hands started vibrating with large amplitude and it lasts up to 1 hour. Also Everyday it occurs at the same time. I have done my cbc all are normal. Visited my doctor doctor gave me Clonazepam and lexapro after taking this medicine tremor attacks stopped But internal shaking didn't stop. What can be the reasons behind it
Hi, @shuvhfa1 - welcome to Mayo Clinic Connect. Since you were talking in your post about internal shaking, I moved your post here to this discussion on internal vibrations so you could talk with others who have had similar experiences. Please meet @hopeful33250 @jager5210 @asquires @redladyjoni @2016dodge, who may recognize the vibrations you are talking about as well as the "tremor attack."
Are you differentiating the internal shaking and a tremor as shaking not outwardly visible and shaking that is outwardly visible?
Yes Mam I am differentiating it
@jenniferhunter @cathy514 @pharis022 @crankyunicorn68 @mermaid1935 also may have some thoughts on the internal vibrations you've experienced and also the tremor attack, @shuvhfa1.
