Not sure what to do: tremor, UTI, lightheadedness, dizziness, headache
Would like some opinions.
I’ve had a very slight tremor of my head for a while now. Not all the time. I became more curious about it and started to inquire. In the mean time, I developed a UTI and started taking Cipro and also had a flu shot recently.
I have felt “off” lately. Some light headed ness, dizziness, slight headaches.
My mind is racing to the worst scenarios.
My primary said the neurologically everything seems to be fine.
Thoughts?

Hello @pamelacelia,
Migraine headaches can produce a lot of uncomfortable symptoms. Did the doctor give you meds to treat the headaches?
Yes I was prescribed Relpax for full on headaches and excedrin migraine for milder symptoms, I would usually take the excedrin once I start to feel any tightness on my jaw and temple because that, for me, indicates an oncoming migraine, for the ones that just hit me out of nowhere I'll take the Relpax.
Glad to hear that, @pamelacelia. What were your doctor's suggestions for the pre-diabetic condition?
Thanks, well she started me on metformin and of course a change of diet and exercise, my a1c did go down for a short while but it went back up so I just have to keep at it
@pamelcelia That's good the sugar is the culprit of course breads turn into sugar in the system Dr probably explained that
Yes she did, I actually don't eat a lot of bread, I don't really fancy it but here in the Caribbean our foods are very rich and I love to eat, but it makes sense to eat healthier and still be able to enjoy our local cuisine like on weekends, because if I get diabetes I'll have to give up a lot of foods, so I'm trying, it's hard sometimes but in the long run I'll benefit.
You have a very healthy, smart attitude, @pamelacelia! What type of exercise do you enjoy?
We have a huge open shed, so I make laps around it, and I have resistance bands and my neighbor showed me some other excersises I can do with regular items I have at home, I don't like the traditional crunches and lunges and so on I feel like it does nothing for me, the walking and using the resistance bands, I can feel it working.
Thank you, lioness. I never thought of all the foods that have natural or added sugar. I always thought of cookies, cakes, candy...BUT
Bread turns to sugar?
I’ll have do do some more research!
@helenfrances Yes bread turns into sugar in the system Diffinately research what all has sugar in it that's why it's important to read lables hidden sugar in vegies canned goods if you want to not have to take meds for diabetes start to research and read lables I'm glad to hear you are taking sugar seriously A lot of diabetics don't and this is a sore point for me as a retired nurse
