I am looking for a company to buy from, please forward the company you are using at this time, the last one I tried said to mix with water and drink, but you are to put it under your tongue for 15 minutes , and do not drink for up to 45 minutes later, god bless you.
@joangma- I use a local passion center and Charlotte's Web. I keep the oil under my tongue for about a minute, until it feels dry. I have never heard of not drinking anything until 45 minutes later. The oil is absorbed into your blood stream so anything that you eat or drink wouldn't interfere.
Good morning @joangma. Directions for CBD oil: Shake the bottle well. I also squeeze the top of the dropper a few times to make sure that everything is well mixed. Place a dropper full under your tongue and hold for 30-90 seconds, or until it is dry under your tongue. Then swallow. I actually hold my tongue up during this time.
Hi I have non small squamous level 3. I've had 2 Pet scans. No plans because at my age , I'm too much of a risk. I'm 76 yrs. I've been reading about CBD Oil . I wonder if it will help my pain.
Wish I knew if CBD oil would help. There is a site on the Mayo Clinic Groups which has a lot of folks who have, or are using CBD oil. I know you can find it on either the Lung Cancer group, or the Lung Health group. Prayers and good wishes for you.
Did you ever get an answer? I’ve been taking 2 Five mg gummies each night and it has alleviated my neuropathy issues. Still too early for my next PET scan,

My husband has cancer, COPD and pain in his feet from an accident. He has been using CBD and THC oils and gummies for the past 15 months. We live in a state where Medical Marijuana and Recreational Marijuana are both legal. He has a medical marijuana card and uses their products. But, in our state (Colorado) CBD is available almost anywhere as well.
The CBD has really helped with his pain. He doesn't use opioids or pain killers and the CBD has made a big difference. Everyone is different, so it's hard to know BUT I did read an interesting article in the latest Consumer Reports that said about 60-70% of people using CBD for pain are pleased and have been able to cut back on other pain relievers (including opioid type pain relievers). So that's a good endorsement. The article also said that fewer than 23% of people using CBD noticed any side effects.
My husband's cancer is now also 'stable' (for now anyway) and the only treatment he is using is the marijuana (really long story on that). He has either Stage III or Stage IV cancer (of an unknown type....that's the long story) and it hasn't grown significantly in a year and his oncologists believed he would not be here today. We don't know if it's the marijuana but since it's all we have to work with at this point we're moving forward with it.
Good luck and hugs!!
@cindylb, thank you for your candid input. I am finding that as time goes by I am having to use opioids to control the pain in my radiation targeted area of where the bone presses against the brain. Each day I try to cut back & finally have to give in, but now can go longer hours between doses. It’s good to know that your husband is responding well to the CBD. I tried it for a while & maybe didn’t give it longer to take effect. Will definitely give it another go. Good luck & Big Hugs back to you.

@tyreegirls3tyreegirls3-Welcome to Mayo Connect. I have Multifocal adenocarcinoma of the lung. This means, brefly, that I get more than one nodule at a time. I'm confused about what you said that at 76 you are too high of a risk- but for what> non-small squamous is a sub type of NSCLC. Would you mind sharing more of your cancer history? Mine started back in 1997 so I've been battling cancer for 22 years. What kind of pain do you have? Where is it? @2onlow8- Welcome to you! That's incredible that your neuropathy is gone with the help of CBD oil.
I use it for anxiety and it works! I have pain in other places and it really doesn't help that much, that I can tell.
Everyone who is going to try it should clear it with your doctors because it does interfere with certain medicines and treatments.
