1 ReactionAre starchy foods bad for cancer patients
No Samantha- But she needs balanced meals: Image result for balanced meals
http://www.alimentarium.org
Balancing meals. Balanced meals include one food from each food group- Dairy; Vegetables; Fruits; Grains and Protein. The new MyPlate icon is a good representation of a balanced meal because all five food groups are included. When planning a meal, try to include "five of five."
base meals on starchy foods like potatoes, bread, rice or pasta. have some dairy or dairy alternatives (such as soya drinks) eat some beans, pulses, fish, eggs, meat and other protein. choose unsaturated oils and spreads, eaten in small amounts.

I can imagine, it would me too. A lot of m eat isn't good. I eat meat maybe 2- 3 month (red, lamb, etc.) Chicken, fish, pork..good stuff. Listen to her doctor. But as I said Samantha- she's dealing with a lot, so if she wants to eat something let her. Don't deprive her of anything unless her doctor says no or she's allergic to it.
Samantha- When does she go for her next CT scan?
