Stage 3 Kidney Disease and Diet: What can I eat?
It seems there is very little you can eat that is healthy for the Kidneys. The web site Davida has plenty of food on it but contradicts what other sources say. Anyone know anything for breakfast, lunch and dinner that does not have any sugar or flour bodies the obvious boring or bland foods good for Kidneys and I’m allergic to sugar of any kind of sweetener and flour. Thank you.

@jeanice Welcome to Mayo Connect. We're glad you found us, and you will find out that we are a pretty diverse group of people. It's pretty scary to have a new condition to worry about, isn't it? Thank you for looking into our community here, and asking for help! I hope the experiences we share with you will help ease your mind.
I was diagnosed over 10 years ago with kidney disease, but didn't really do anything in my diet to help it out. It wasn't until 2015 when a new and unusual condition was discovered, that I paid attention to it. Since then, my GFR runs in the low 30s, thanks to diet and lifestyle changes.
These two site may be of use to you to look at, and help you https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/chronic-kidney-disease/symptoms-causes/syc-20354521 and http://www.rsnhope.org Both have a lot of information.
As @kamama94 mentioned, there can be a range of lab results. One thing that was pointed out to me early, was the fact there can be a variety of lab results based on the laboratory that processes the tests, the different machines used, the time of day and even your hydration levels. Doctors will look for trends over time.
I hope this helps you out, and that you will continue to ask questions as they come to you!
Ginger
@jeanice, I understand about the oven. A lot of my meals are microwaved so I hope this helps.

@jeanice I just turned 74. We're about the same age. :0)
Thank you so much. I appreciate any info I can get. I have alo t to learn. Karama94 has also already been very helpful. I will continue
to read everyone's posts and want to learn all I can. And when I see the Kidney Dr. And find out where I am, I will let you know. I do have
a question. Why when this is such a serious disease, don't Kidney Drs. have Renal Dieticians helping people with diets?
Yes we are. Can't wait to see your desserts. That was hard to give up!
Please tell me what EEVOO, vegan dressing, vegan mayo is. Do you make them yourself?
@jeanice, Daiya company and Follow Your Heart make dairy-free, egg-free salad dressings and Follow Your Heart makes a delicious egg-free, dairy-free mayonnaise. You can google their websites to learn where they're available and I think Amazon can ship some of them. The comopanies named in my recipe collection all offer vegetarian and/or vegan versions of foods we're used to. Just watch their sodium content as some items contain quite a bit. I'm not usually up this late, I go to bed with the (free-rande) chickens but I was hopoing to hear from you again. Have a good evening. I'll be "back" tomorrow and you can email me in private messages any time also.
make that free range chickens, oops.
