Chronic virus that is contagious

Hello. Just need help. I am so lost. have a virus that won't go away. I have been to many doctors and no one has been able to figure it out. Now, this is affecting my heart. My heart rate seems to randomly get very high 140 and not come down for several hours. So I guess I'm asking what chronic virus is contagious and can put pressure on the heart?

Is there a way to test for a virus in the body without knowing what it is?

Does umbiased sequencing assay exist and can it detect an unknown virus in the body? Metagenomic next-generation sequencing?

Hello @chen16. I see you also posted in the epstein barr discussion. Have you discussed these symptoms with your medical provider? Is it possible these new symptoms are part of your EBV diagnosis, or are you worried about an additional diagnosis?

Already discussed with medical provider. They ruled out EBV. They stated there is something else but they have yet to uncover. The reason I posted there was to see if there were similarities in some symptoms but doesn't seem to be the case. Yes, additional diagnosis.
